KCR on Monday surprised everyone by attacking the BJP by shooting from the shoulders of 'The Kashmir Files', the biggest blockbuster in recent times. The Hindi-language film, as per the Telangana Chief Minister, has been backed by the BJP with the intention of perpetuating vote-bank politics.

The TRS supremo said that a real progressive government would bring out irrigation files, economic files and industry files instead of supporting 'The Kashmir files', which as per him is not relevant. He also alleged that Kashmir pandits are miffed with the communal politics in their name.

KCR has invited criticism by asking who wants 'Kashmir Files'. The humongous box-office performance of the Vivek Agnihotri directorial shows that millions of Indians are moved by the portrayal of the ethnic cleansing in Kashmir three decades ago.

The CM also said that Prashant Kishor, the celebrated political strategist, is working for the TRS. He claimed that PK is working in return for no fee.
