KCR announces 80,039 new recruitments

Addressing the Assembly on Wednesday, Telangana Chief Minister KCR said that notifications for the recruitment of 80,039 individuals for different posts will be issued ASAP. This is on the top of regularization of 11,103 contract workers.
In all, the total recruitment stands at 91,142 posts.
The state government will incur an expenditure of Rs 7,300 Cr every year due to the addition of nearly 91,000 jobs.
KCR also told the Assembly that his government, since it came to power in 2014, has notified 1,56,254 posts for recruitment. He claimed that as many as 1,33,942 posts have been filled up already.
The CM also said that locals will be provided 95% reservation in government jobs from the lowest cadre level to the RDO level.
TRS is lauding KCR for announcing the massive recruitment drive. Commenting on the issue, Chevella MP Dr. Ranjith Reddy said, "This initiative is one more testament to our Government's commitment to the welfare and growth of our people." On her part, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi described KCR as a visionary. "People have embraced the announcement throughout the state," she added.
