K Chandrasekhar Rao took oath as the Chief Minister of Telangana at 1:25 PM on Thursday at Raj Bhavan's Durbar Hall. The muhurat was set by the Yadadri temple's Vedic pundits.
Along with him, Mahmud Ali (former deputy CM) took oath as a Minister in Urdu. Last time when KCR was administered oath in June 2014, eleven Ministers were also sworn in.
Today's ceremony saw the attendance of KTR, Harish Rao and other family members of the new CM. New MLAs of TRS, MPs and Asaduddin Owaisi were also present on the occasion.
KCR, who has won a thumping mandate, will choose his team of Council of Ministers next week.
