KCA awards presented, houses to live urged

At the well attended Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy awards for 2017, Karnataka Housing Minister M Krishnappa was urged to provide nominal cost houses for the cinema industry people in Mysuru where the 100 acres film city is coming up.

Housing Minister Krishnappa honored 14 veterans with a cash prize of Rs.50000, trophy and a plaque. The awards presentation was held at Town Hall in Bengaluru.

The big artists of Kannada cinema are interested in getting crores of rupees remuneration but forgotten the moral responsibility stated KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu. Obviously he was referring to majority of artists not reacting to dubbed film release in Karnataka.
