KB speaks about his acting

Veteran director K Balachander has completed the shooting for Poi and the post-production works have begun.
The movie being produced by KB's protege Prakash Raj has Uday Kiran, Vimala Raman and Geethu Mohandas in the lead roles.
KB, who is not given to exaggerations, says ÂPoi is a love story without any villain element. The screenplay is not cliched and it's a new experience directing fresh FacesÂ.
Besides wielding the megaphone, the veteran director has played an important role in the movie, which he says has really thrilled him.
'I am basically an actor. I gave up acting because I wanted to become a director. So there was no difficulty in acting Poi'.
Once post production is completed the movie will make it to the theaters by March.
