KB Guru in Shishya's 'Uthama Villain'

One of the biggest achievements in the career of noted actor, director and orator Ramesh Aravind is Tamil film ‘Utthama Villain’ direction. For the biggest of his career the happiest part is not only Dr Kamal Hasan acting in his direction for the second time (previous one was Kannada film ‘Rama Shama Bhama’) but Ramesh Aravind mentor K Balachander – affectionately known as KB facing the camera in his direction.

Recalling the beginning of his career in cinema from legendary director KB the intelligent Ramesh Aravind says his debut in Kannada; Tamil and Telugu was in the flagship of KB. It is KB sir who told me that I can direct a cinema long ago and that turned true in my career recalls Ramesh Aravind.

In ‘Utthama Villain’ doyen KB plays the role of a mentor of protagonist Dr Kamal Hasssan that is also true in real life. K Vishwanath, Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Parvathi Menon, Urvashi and Parvathi Nair are also in the cast. I have plans to complete the film before May 31 says Ramesh Aravind, gentleman hero and director of Kannada film on his new feat.

In ‘Utthama Villain’ a family drama Dr Kamal Haasan plays the role of super star and 8th century folk artist. Dr Kamal Haasan has written the dialogues. The ‘Good and Bad’ in human being as the main focus is universal.
