'Kazhugu' music on air from today

Sathyam Theatres witnessed the audio launch of ‘Kazhugu’ today (November 23, 2011) morning. The film is about a man who makes his living collecting corpses of suicide victims. The film which was mostly shot at Munnar, came in for much praise today during the music launch from ace personalities in the film industry.

The friendly mood that prevailed throughout the music launch also saw the guests, mostly leading directors and producers in the Tamil film industry, wielding the mike and mounting praises on the young team that has come up with a bold film as bold as its title ‘Kazhugu.’

The director of the film is Sathyasiva, and this is his debut directorial venture. The lead stars in the film, Krishna, brother of director Vishnuvardhan, and Bindhu Madhavi, were praised for their sincere efforts for this film. Jayaprakash, Thambi Ramaiah, and Karunas too will be seen essaying important roles in ‘Kazhugu.’

The music for this film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. He was the hero of the day and all the three songs were introduced and enjoyed by the guests present during the audio launch.

The top guns from the Tamil film industry who were present for this music launch function include TG Thiagarajan, SA Chandrasekar, SP Jananathan, RK Selvamani, Sakti Chidambaram, Vishnuvardhan, Sarath Kumar, PL Thenappan, Kalaipuli Thanu, Jayaprakash, Pushkar and Gayathri.

With realistic themes garnering wonderful responses from the audience, there is a lot of expectation on ‘Kazhugu’ too which deals with a true to life experiences.
