Kayamkulam Kochunni: Amala Paul's character sketch is intriguing

Recently, social media users were in awe when director Roshan Andrews revealed the character sketch of Nivin Pauly's title character 'Kayamkulam Kochunni', the historical thief of Kerala. A day ago, the character sketch of Amala Paul from the movie has been released and is already viral on social media.

Sporting a unique avatar, the actress, who is appearing as Kayamkulam Kochunni's love interest in the movie, looks simply different in the character sketch. With a nadan hairdo, silver ornaments, and kajaled eyes, Amala's look has triggered curiosity among the movie buffs. Further details about her character are expected to be revealed soon.

The movie which is based on the 'Kayamkulam Kochunni' stories, in Aithihyamala, is scripted by the duo Bobby-Sanjay, who have been researching for over 2 years. Though there have been many versions of Kochunni's life stories, the upcoming venture will explore on how Kochunni turned out to be a rebel from a common man. The movie will also feature the love life of Kayamkulam Kochunni. Amala Paul will appear as Kochunni's love interest in the movie.

Produced by Gokulam Gopalan, for Sree Gokulam Films, the movie's music will be done by Kabali music director Santhosh Narayanan and sound designing by Baahubali sound designer Satheesh. 'Kayamkulam Kochunni' will start rolling on September first and will be shot at the various locations of Kayamkulam and Sri Lanka.
