With all other Malayalee heroines running after time to complete projects that they have signed in all the south Indian languages, Kavya Madhavan seems to be the only actor who is always available to malayalees as their favorite actress to don all the mature roles.

After the last years hits like 'Nadhiya Kollapetta Rathri' and 'Kangaroo', Kavya is again on for another in Bipin Prabhakar's new film 'One Way Ticket', teaming up again with her hit mate Prithviraj. Kavya Madhavan will shoot for this film scripted by Babu Janardhanan, from the mid of this month. The other highlight of the movie is that Kavya is turning lyricist with 'One Way Ticket' which will feature her two songs set to tunes by Rahulraj.

After completing her parts in the movie in three weeks she will join the sets of ‘Maadambi’ by April 4. This film will feature Kavya for the first time as the heroine of Mohanlal. It is a long time wish of Kavya to pair up with Mohanlal with whom she has played his sister or in law characters in a number of films. In ‘Madambi’, scripted and directed by B Unnikrishnan, Kavya plays the character of Jayalakshmi, a girl who comes from nowhere to set up a new generation Bank in a village which ultimately destroys the hero's dominance in the area as a Private financier, but ends up falling in love with him.

Kavya is also teaming up with the other megastar of Malayalam, Mammootty as the heroine in Johnny Antony's (‘Cycle’ fame) next flick 'Pattanathil Bhootham'. Many will remember that the actress started her acting career as a child artist in Mammootty's ‘Azhagiya Ravanan’ which came out in 1993.

Apart from these Kavya has several films in her kitty, including ‘Ente Uppappakkorana Undayirunnu’, ‘Kalabhamazha’, ‘Valmeekam’, ‘Twenty Twenty’ and ‘Chempaka Raman’.
