Kavya Madhavan's new look in Siddhique's new Tamil film has invited increased interest among her fans and supporters. In order to look glamorous, the actress has lost her weight, straightened her hair, colored it and has reduced the thickness of her eyebrows. She is also clad in modern outfits in the film.

Kavya is playing the role of a bold TV anchor in the Tamil film by Siddhique titled Saadhu Mirandaal. In her twelve year old career in Malayalam, she never had got the space to appear different as most of the directors casted her in stereotyped roles of a soft spoken Malayalee girl .The actress is also enjoying the refreshing new look and image that she is getting through this movie.

Kavya had earlier been to Tamil, but with limited success. The actress who was introduced into tamil filmdom by Vinayan in Kasi and En Manavanil, rejected the other offers that came her way as both these films did not do well and she refused to be in glamour roles. In this new film, she is cast opposite Prasanna.
