Kavya Madhavan - Fifty plus, and going strong

Kavya Madhavan, the numero uno actress in Malluwood, has successfully completed 50 films in Malluwood.
Though she had not starred opposite biggies like Mammootty or Mohanlal, she has managed to render several hits and today emerged the highest paid actress in Malayalam film industry.
She had entered the industry as a child artist at the age of five and has done 50 films so far in a career span of 15 years. Her 50th film was Vasthavam with Prithviraj and her next Chakkaramuthu with Dileep is ready for release.
Her performances in Perumazhakkalam, Annorikkal, Sheelabathy and Oomapenninu Uriyaadapayyan have won her many accolades. She had bagged the state award for her sensitive portrayal of Ganga, a young widow in KamalÂs Perumazhakkalam.
