Kavya Madhavan, the only super heroine of Malluwood is into her 51st film with her latest with Dileep Chakkaramuthu.

After making her debut as a child artist in 1991 in the film Pookkalam Varavayi, she was pitched as the heroine opposite Dileep in the film Chandranudikkunna Dikkil in 1999. And there after in the last seven years, she was the only heroine who could produce any substantial hits every year.

The interesting factor with Kavya is that she has never been placed opposite Mammootty or Mohanlal, the reigning Super stars of Malayalam cinema in these years. In these 51 films, she has also made her presence felt in Kollywood with two films - Kasi and En Mana Vanil. She also appeared in a double role in the film Mizhi Randilum.

She has also received plenty of awards and accolades for many of her performances in the films like Perumazhakkalam, Annorikkal, Sheelabathy, Oomapenninu Uriyaadapayyan and Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal which are the favorites of the star.

In these fifty one films, she has been the heroines to twelve young actors of Malluwood, mostly with Dileep and Kunchakko Boban. She has acted in 15 films opposite Dileep in these seven years of her career creating hits like Darling Darling, Thenkasipattanam, Dosth, Meesa Madhavan, Thilakkam, Runway , Kochi Rajavu and Lion.

The immediate releases of Kavya Madhavan includes Arunam, Vaasthavam, Chakkramuthu and Athishayan.
