One of the greatest wishes of Kavya Madhavan was to appear as the heroine to megastar Mammooty. She accomplished this dream in ‘Ee Pattanathil Bhootham’ and took a short break from the industry for her marriage. Now that she is back after a much reported, disastrous married life, Kavya is making good career moves in her second run. Instead of being the heroine to younger stars, she is now targeting the bigger ones, which will give her enough popularity and appreciation for longer term. She had been signed for Joshi’s Mohanlal starrer ‘Christian Brothers’ opposite the super star as her return film. And now the rumors doing the rounds are that she has been approached for Mammootty’s new movie ‘Pramaani’ to be directed by B Unnikrishnan.

The scriptwriter turned director who had been with some well made films like ‘Madambi’ and ‘Smart City’, will be for the first time teaming with Mammootty in ‘Pramaani’. He will present the megastar as Raghava Panikkar, the corrupt Panchayat president of a village who is forced to find his goodness by a Panchayath Secretary. Kavya is approached for this role of Panchayat Secretary. And the news is that if the dates won’t clash with that of ‘Christian Brothers’, Kavya will be in all chances, don the promising role.

‘Pramaani’ will also feature Siddique, Jagathy, Innocent, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Salim Kumar in key roles. The movie produced by B C Joshi, in the banner of Surya Cinema will start its shoot by the first week of January.
