Kavin after gaining limelight with 'Bigg Boss 3' hosted by Kamal Haasan starred in the critically acclaimed hit movie 'Lift' costarring Amritha Aiyer. He is currently starring in 'Oorkuruvi' produced by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan.

It has just been announced that Kavin is playing the lead in a new movie to be produced by Olympia Movies Ambedkumar MLA. Aparna Das who is playing Thalapathy Vijay's sister in 'Beast' has been roped in to play the female lead.

The as yet untitled film marks the debut of Ganesh K Babu with Jen Martin scoring the music, Ezhilarasu K handling the camera and Kathiresh Azhageshan taking care of the editing. Monica Chinnakotla and Harish Kumar are also in the cast. The shoot began today and is progressing at a brisk pace.
