Kavan
Director K.V.Anand and versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi have teamed up for a new film which will be produced by AGS Productions banner. This is the 18th production venture of AGS. The film has been titled as 'Kavan' the Tamil term for Catapult.
The first official announcement came from the production house on March 21. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi as the male lead. The multi-talented celebrity T.Rajendhar plays an important role. Madonna Sebastian is playing the female lead and this is her second with VijaySethupathi after 'Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum'. Actor Akashdeep Saigal who acted as the lead villain in Anand's 2009 super hit 'Ayan' makes a comeback in Kollywood playing the antagonist in this film. Vikranth, Chandini Tamilarasan, Pandiyarajan, Bose Venkat, Jegan and many others.
The story for 'Kavan' has been written by Anand, writers Suba and Kabilan Vairamuthu. Hip Hop Tamizha has rendered the music score. Abhi Nandan who has worked as assistant cameraman in K.V.Anand's 2011 blockbuster 'Ko' makes his Tamil debut as a Cinematographer. Anthony is taking care of Editing.
The director in his interview revealed that Vijay Sethupathi plays a Chennai based corporate employee while TR is an agent for corporate companies. The combination scenes between these two extremely talented actors will be a tremendous treat for the audience.
The film's shoot commenced in July 2016 the shooting was concluded in December 2016 and the audio released on February 12, 2017.
Madonna has made her Debut as a singer in Kollywood with the 'Happy New Year song in the film.
'Kavan' produced by Kalpathi S.Aghoram, S.Ganesh and S.Suresh of AGS Entertainments banner. The film has acquired a clean U certificate and it will be hitting the screens on March 31, 2017.
