Few days back we had told you about Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra’s next prestigious project, ‘Bhag Milkha Bhag’. The film, which is a biopic on sports icon Milkha Singh, of late is deciding upon a suitable actor who will do justice to the role.

According to the grapevine stories, both the director and Milkha Singh had serious discussion over the leading hero for the film. And both of them said to have different choices in hand. Mehra was in favour to rope in Abhishek Bachchan while Singh felt that Akshay Kumar who is a Punjab da puttar and with the right physique will be able to play his character well.

However, some sources shared that the script, which is being written by Prasoon Joshi, is yet to be finalised. After which Rakeysh Mehra will take the final call.

‘Bhag Milkha Bhag’ is expected to start its shooting schedule next year.
