Katy Perry gets engaged to Orlando Bloom

On the occasion of Valentine's Day, singer Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom reportedly got engaged.

The couple confirmed the same on their respective Instagram pages with Katy captioning her post Full Bloom while Orlando posted Lifetimes. The picture shows Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom in a closeup shot, highlighting Katy's diamond engagement ring. A number of heart-shaped balloon were featured in the background.

The proposal was a complete surprise. They have discussed getting engaged but Katy did not think it was going to happen so soon. Orlando proposed to Katy in private just the two of them after their Valentine's Day dinner celebration, a news source reported.

The couple, who broke up briefly in 2018, got back together a couple of months later. They started dating in 2016 following their meeting at the Golden Globes.
