A man from Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, who has been struggling to get work as an actor in the Hindi film industry, has been arrested for allegedly giving death threats to actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal on social media.

The accused, identified as Manvinder Singh, is apparently a fan of Katrina Kaif and had been stalking her for a long time. A case was registered against the man at Mumbai’s Santacruz police station and he has now been arrested. “Case registered at Santacruz PS on complaint of Vicky Kaushal u/s 506(2),354(D) IPC r/w sec 67 IT Act. He complained that one person has been threatening & posting threat messages on Instagram. He stated that the accused has also been stalking his wife & threatening her,” the police mentioned in their statement.

This comes merely days after Bollywood star Salman Khan received a letter at his residence threatening him with dire consequences, following which an FIR was registered against the unidentified accused by the Mumbai police.
