Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was last seen on screen pairing with Shahrukh Khan in the Anand L Rai directorial Zero, and will be seen next in Salman Khan starrer, Ali Abbas Zafar directorial period drama Bharat, which is all set to release on eve of Eid on June 5.

Now it has been revealed that the actress has bagged yet another biggie, as she has been roped in to play the female lead in Akshay Kumar's next movie Sooryavanshi, which is directed by Rohit Shetty, who had recently scored a blockbuster with Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba.

Sooryavanshi will be produced by Karan Johar and Reliance Entertainments, and will have cameo appearances by Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, and is scheduled to release on Eid 2020. Katrina and Akshay have earlier paired in hit movies like Namaste London, Singh is King, Welcome etc.
