Katie Holmes Sparks Concern with Bruised Face, But Instagram Photos Show No Injury

Katie Holmes recently caused a stir when she was seen in New York City with what looked like cuts on her face. On images she later uploaded on Instagram, however, the bruises were absent.
Holmes recently went to the high school graduation of her daughter Suri Cruise. Actor Tom Cruise, Suri's father, was conspicuously missing even as Holmes and Suri were pictured together.
Holmes accessorized with a purse, cap, and diamond earrings for a laid-back New York outing wearing black T-shirt, white slacks, and black flats. Though its reason is yet unknown, the black eye she wore on the occasion begged questions. Holmes tried to hide the bruise with her cap, leaving viewers guessing about her condition.
On a series of bare-faced photographs posted on Instagram, Holmes looked perfect, sporting a blue striped blouse and a hoop nose ring. Referring to her cat, which showed in the pictures, she tagged them with Eleanor. Comments from fans highlighted her beauty.
Holmes revealed in another Instagram post her guest role on the Poker Face series, stars Natasha Lyonne, Giancarlo Esposito, Gaby Hoffmann, and Kumail Nanjiani.
Holmes noted Suri's LaGuardia High School graduation. Suri, sporting a red cap and gown, posed for pictures with her mother sporting white collared shirt and slacks. After the ceremony, they were seen walking together and hugging. Suri intends to attend Carnegie Mellon University; she is alienated from her father and his other children. Suri chose to cut off her father and siblings, concentrating just on her relationship with her mother, and Holmes and Suri's bond is still strong.
