Release details may be precarious back here in Tamil Nadu, but the film is marching steadily towards a record screening abroad. Director AR Murugadoss' Vijay-Samantha starrer 'Kaththi' is facing a number of problems back home in Tamil Nadu, owing to the film's producers Lyca Productions being a close associate of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa. It is still unclear whether the film will really hit the screens here for Diwali, as promised. However, the film has a record number of screens, ready to have it up and running overseas.
'Kaththi' will release in a whooping 118 screens in Malaysia, and a little over 100 screens across the USA. In the UK, 70 screens have been blocked for the film, while France had reserved 24 screens for the flick. It is worth mentioning that 'Kaththi' will be the first film to be screened in Norway's Colosseum Theatre, including which, it has 6 screens in the country.
