'Ilayathalapathi' Vijay has faced some serious issues with before and after releases of 'Thuppakki' and 'Thalaivaa'. Now with 'Kaththi' which is under production, the makers have already given clean chit to themselves by releasing a press note few months ago. Even the director A.R. Murugadoss said, we will not make any move/movie which will hurt the sentiments of TN people. A student community has issues an opposing statement against the film because of Lyca's investment in the production department.

If sources are to be believed, Lyca's head will be meeting top Tamil activists like Vaiko, Nedumaran, and few others by mid of August to express the real identity and origin of the company. Few reports claim that, Lyca is a pro LTTE group and few others claim they are close to Rajapakse. Well, the producer is all set to clear the air in few weeks time. Once the makers find a clear route ahead of them, they will be releasing the audio and movie which is planned for Diwali.
