Young actor Kathir, who has so far impressed with his unique choice of scripts, like Madha Yaanai Koottam, Kirumi, Vikram Vedha etc, had gained huge reach with his performance in the hard hitting movie Pariyerum Perumal, and was last seen in the Zee5 original movie Sigai.

Now, Kathir is ready with his next release. Titled Sathru, the movie directed by debutant Naveen Nanjundan had its trailer released recently, and the movie has Kathir as a young cop trying to resolve a murder mystery involving a gang of young killers in the city.

It has been announced that Sathru will be releasing on March 8, clashing with Atharvaa starrer Boomerang. Srushti Dange plays the female lead in Sathru, which also stars Laguparan who played the hero in Raatinam, as the antagonist. while Pawan,Suja Varunee, Neelima and Ponvannan play other important roles.
