Young actor Kathir is getting appreciated for his performance as Vijay Sethupathi's younger brother in the recent super hit 'Vikram Vedha'. His next release will be 'Sigai' in which he appears in the getup of a woman and this film is also his home production.

Apart from that Kathir will be acting in the lead role along with Srushti Dangein a film titled as 'Sathru'. This film is being produced by Rathakumar aka Rajarathnam and Sridharan of RT Infinity Deal Entertainment banner. 'Sathru' will be the second production venture of this production banner after the Nataraj-Ruhi SIngh starrer 'Bongu'.

'Sathru' is touted to be an action thriller written and directed by debutant Naveen Nanjundan. This is the story of an individual who punishes the criminals who have escaped the law.

The film's supporting cast includes Ponvanna, Neelima, Marimuthu, Rishi, Suja Varunee and many others. Laghubaran who was seen as a the lead hero in a few films, including 'Rattinam' is acting as the lead villain in this film. Amrish will give the music score while Mahesh Muthusamy takes care of cinematography. Prasanna GK is the Editor.

'Sathru' is being written and directed by Naveen Nanjundan. The film has been entirely shot in Chennai. The makers are planning to have the audio launch very soon.
