Kathir is back

Kathir dished out some of the memorable campus love stories of Kollywood, including 'Idhayam', 'Kadhal Desam' and 'Kadhalar Dinam'. After a sabbatical, the filmmaker is back, with a movie titled 'Kodai Vidumurai'.
Shaam is playing the lead role, while a couple of Mumbai girls will share the screen space with him as heroines. Nasser, Aswin Raja and others will play key roles. Cinematography is by Vincent, and music by Prasanna.
Says Kathir, The film will revolve around some of the happenings that take place during a summer vacation. It is going to be a colorful love story. Songs will be shot in foreign locations.
On opting for a lesser known person as music composer, Kathir, who had worked with the likes of Ilayaraja and A R Rahman, says, Since Rahman is busy with his other commitments, I settled for Prasanna, who is a talented person. I will work with Rahman in my next movie.
