Kathakali release date finalized

Vishal is back in a power-packed role. Kathakali is an action-thriller directed by Pandiraj. Starring Catherine Tresa, it has music by Hiphop Tamizha. The news is that it's releasing on March 18.
Gowri Krishna of Sri Krishna Creations says, "As a mass hero, Vishal has a good following in Telugu. All of his films have done very well in Telugu. With good story and screenplay, the film has done well in Tamil."
Vishal is optimistic about delivering another hit in Telugu. "Right from Pandem Kodi, the Telugu audience have always encouraged me. Kathakali is suspenseful and interesting. Apt for Telugu nativity, the backdrop is Vizag. Sashank Vennelakanti has written great dialogues. Pandiraj, who has won a National Award for his film with children, has done a very good job as director. The film has a universal appeal. The openings in Tamil validated our stand."
Director Pandiraj says, "The film is based on a real-life incident. A murder takes place in unexpected circumstances. Right from the beginning, the audience will be thrilled."
Cinematography is by Balasubramaniem. Music is by Hiphop Tamizha. Lyrics are by Vennelakanti and Bhuvanachandra.
