The trailer for 'Katha Venuka Katha' goes beyond its teaser. A film director stares are a jail term when artists working on his debut movie go missing. All three of them are female. Sunil plays a cop who investigates the case with the sole aim of framing the male lead. To be fair to him, circumstantial evidence seems to point at the film director.
Who are the villains? Who are the victims? Are victims really victims? The trailer doesn't give a hint at the nature of the conflict. This one doesn't seem to be a women's empowerment film or a story revolving around sexual crimes.
The talented Viswanth plays the hero and he looks apt. As a young filmmaker who dreams of marrying his girlfriend after making his first film successful, he plays a cheerful role that becomes a tension-ridden one as the story progresses.
Starring Srijitha Ghoush and Subha Sri as heroines, the film also features Ali, Jaya Prakash, Raghu Babu, Sathyam Rajesh, Madhu Nandan, Bhupal, Khayyum and others. Directed by Krishna Chaithanya, its music has been composed by Shravan Bharadwaj. Produced by Avanindra Kumar, 'KVK' has music coming out on Aditya Music.
The film will hit the screens on March 24.
