Pawan Kalyan's 'Katamarayudu', which has been shot since Sept 24, has got a release date. It's March 29 next year. The Dolly-directed movie will be a gargantuan Ugadi release.

Shruti Haasan is yet another time playing Power Star's female lead, after 'Gabbar Singh'. Manasa, a trained dancer and a voice-over artiste, is playing Pawan's bubbly 'maradalu' here. Also starring Yamini Bhaskar (of 'Rabhasa' fame) as the villain's daughter, the movie has script by Akula Shiva.

Produced by Sharath Marar (the 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' producer), it has music by Anup Rubens, who is composing music for a PK movie for the second time after 'Gopala Gopala'.
