'Katamarayudu' maradalu is from family of academicians

Manasa Himavarsha, who is playing Pawan Kalyan's maradalu in 'Katamarayudu', is also doing Vamsi's 'Fashion Designer', a sequel to 'Ladies Tailor'.
Starting off as a host of a TV show, she is now a promising silver screen artiste. A model, Manasa is a trained dancer and a voice-over artiste.
What is surprising is that the role in Pawan's movie came to Manasa without her asking for it! So also the one in celebrated director Vamsi's next. Looks like after the likes of Anasuya and Rashmi, here is another small screen girl who is going to make it big in tinseltown.
