'Katamarayudu' has been certified with 'U'. This certification boosts the entertainer's credentials as a family entertainer. As planned, it will hit the screens on March 24. The run-time is 144 mins.

Although the film was first given a U/A, the certification was revisited by the Board members after some scenes were chopped off by the makers.

So far, three songs have been released and all the three have made it to the chart busters. Anup Rubens is the music director, whereas Prasad Murella of 'Dookudu' and 'Attarintiki Daredi' fame is the cinematographer.

The 'Gabbar Singh' pair of Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan return to the screen after nearly six years. All eyes are on director Kishore Pardasani, who is expected to leave his own mark on the largely rural-flavoured movie.

The pre-release event will be held on March 18 in Hyderabad.
