'Katamarayudu' 7-days tally is great

It was last Friday that 'Katamarayudu' hit the screens in style. The day one share wowed the pundits when the figure was put out: it was a cool Rs. 23 Cr or so. Since then, the mass entertainer has held its ground. It has had a very healthy run, with the Ugadi day share said to be a crown in its jewel. The March 29 collections prove that it's going to be a favourite of family audiences for some days to come.
Latest, it's learnt that, as of the end of the 7th day, the Pawan Kalyan-starrer has mopped up a share of Rs. 54 Cr (worldwide). This only goes to show that 'Katamarayudu' is well on its way to be among the top most industry hits.
Here is the break-up of the figures: In Nizam, it has collected a share of Rs 13.10 Cr, whereas in Ceded, it has got Rs 7.16 Cr. The combined share of the Andhra territories stands at Rs. 24.30 Cr , taking the total of the two Telugu States to Rs. 44.56 Cr. In the US, the film is inching towards the USD 1.10 million mark.
