Popular actress stirs controversy over Kamal's birthday suit

Kamal Hassan not only seems to have made waves with the announcement of a slew of features in tandem with his political entry, but also has raised eyebrows with his unique and fitting Pathani suit. While it is not uncommon to see the actor flaunt traditional shirt and dhoti, this look was unexpected and surprising for fans.

In response to this, actress Kasturi Shankar has opined in her social page about the hidden message behind Kamal’s decision to wear the Pathani suit. Since it’s widely worn in northern parts of the country, the actress also doubted if Kamal is eyeing for the politics at centre.

“Why did Kamal opt for this look over dhoti? Is there a message here? What is the reason to not wear a Tamil veshti and instead a Pathani suit? Is the target Delhi?” she tweeted.
