Director Kasthuriraja is back after a break, with a film titled 'Kaasu Panam Thuttu'. He said that he stayed in slum areas for some months to understand the life of people there and to bring it alive on screen.

"The film is about a bunch of youngsters from 16 to 20 years. How they are lured into illegal businesses by using drugs, women and money as bait is the crux," said the veteran filmmaker.

Kasthuriraj further said that film has been Censored with U/A certificate and it would hit the screens soon. Newcomers Mithran, Suyesha Savanth and Bala have played lead roles, besides Prabhu and Radhika Sarathkumar.
