Adding a song in the last minute has become a trend these days. But the results that the added song brings to the film are found to be not encouraging as in the case recent films like Pathaaka and Don.

The single song sequences of these films were met with loud noises in the theatres, also resulting in a break in the narration of the actual story, taking away the audiences from the actual plot.

Kamal, the super hit mainstream director, is planning to include one more song for his new film Karutha Pakshikal. The film which is already censored and is poised for a November 18 release is more a realistic attempt than an entertainer which carries no songs.

Kamal is planning for the song to boost the promotion prospects of the film in television channels and related media. This song which has Mammootty in the frames, will be shot by the end of this month. Mammootty has earmarked three days for the shooting of this song.
