Karutha Pakshikal - Mass eye donation in the sets

The technicians behind the film Karutha Pakshikal has agreed to donate their eye after their death. This eye donation campaign was organized in the sets of Karutha Pakshikal which tells the story of a blind child and the efforts taken by her father, played by Mammootty, to give some light to her life. The acceptance form was made by 116 technicians related to the film, ranging from the light boy to the director Kamal.

The meeting was inaugurated by Malavika who plays the blind girl in the film and by Sajini and Shibu who recently got vision following eyedonations. In the meeting the president of the eye bank associations Dr.Tony Fernandez received the acceptance letter from the technicians.

The film Karutha Pakshikal which tells the story of slum dwellers is slated for releases by the mid of this November. Recently a song was added to the film, which tells a realistic story, to generate interest to the front benchers, and to make the film more commercial.
