The trailer of the new horror film 'Karungappiyam' has landed and seems to pack a lot of female power. The film stars Kajal Aggarwal, Regina Cassandra and Janani Iyer in the lead supported by Aadhav Kannadasan, Kalaiyarasan, Karunakaran,Aditi Ravindranath, TSK, Sherlin Seth, Noyrika and Lollu Sabha Manohar and Yogi Babu.

The two-minute trailer starts off with someone opening a hundred years old book titled 'Karungappiyam' that seems to have already predicted everything that is happening currently. The horror faced by the women at the hands of the supernatural and the men in the story is what seems to be the crux.

The 'Karungappiyam' trailer is quite intriguing and drums up interest due to the interesting concept and cast. Janani Iyer seems to have gone "thara local" mode while all the characters seem to have something very important to do in the story. Overall the trailer promises to offer something new in the already saturated horror comedy space.

'Karungappiyam' is directed by D. Karthikeyan and produced by Pave Entertainments with music by Prasad. The cinematography is by Vignesh Vasu while cinematography Vjay Velukutty is handling the editing. The film is expected to release soon.
