It was recently announced that actor turned politician Karunas was affected by the coronavirus and that he tested positive for COVID-19. Karunas was last seen in Richard-starrer Draupadi released earlier this year.

After testing positive for COVID-19, Karunas was initially under home quarantine in Dindugal but was later shifted to hospital later for treatment and the actor himself also released an emotional statement from the hospital.

Now, weeks after getting admitted in the government medical hospital in Guindy, Karunas has recovered from Coronavirus and has announced the same on Twitter sharing a photo of him getting discharged, and thanked doctors and nurses for the treatment.
