We know that several top line actors, including Rajinikanth, have come out in support of Kamal Hassan and his controversial film in the wake of Tamil Nadu government's banning of the film. Prakash Raj's terming of the ban as cultural terrorism said it all. Siddharth, Lakshmi Manchu and Bollywoodians like Anurag Kashyap have tweeted their views.

Since more than 24 hours, even members of the political class have supported Kamal. It bears testimony to Kamal's goodwill and image that M Karunanidhi and Ramdoss have extended their support to his film.

Today, MK has appealed the Muslim leaders to hold democratic talks with the filmmaker. I know Kamal and Kajnikanth won't hurt the feelings of any religion. Even I don't tolerate anything that is against Muslims. I urge them to hold talks with Kamal Haasan.

Ramdoss to had said that there is no justification. Ramdoss has been quoted as saying that Kamal Hassan has always worked for Hindu-Muslim unity. (The actor is a member of Harmony India).
