Comedian Karunakaran is slowly but surely carving a niche for himself in Tamil cinema and he has risen to the level of a hero in upcoming films like Uppu Karuvadu` and Kanneer Anjali` besides doing pivotal roles in Gethu`, Oru Naal Koothu`, Jackson Durai` and Iraivi`.

The plight of the farmers in Tamil Nadu is in dire straits with many suicides being reported and here is Karunakaran`s super gesture to them.
