Karunaas quits politics

Karunaas a talented musician who later on proved to be a talented comedian apart from shining in character roles.  He however took to politics a few years back starting the caste based party Mukkulathor Puli Padai and an election to become an MLA with the support of former Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha.  After the CMs death Karunaas aligned with TTV Dinakaran faction and also extended an olive branch to the DMK.

At this juncture Karunaas has announced that he is quitting politics citing the reason that his parents have brought him up as a straightforward man and politics is not allowing him to be himself.  At the St. Antony's Shrine in Dindigul district where he visited Karunaas also slammed the present government under OPS-EPS as  being inactive.   The "Lodukku Pandi" as he is fondly known as has decided to conentrate on his film career from now on.
