Karunaas forays into politics

After making heads turn with his debut performance in Bala's 'Nandaa', Karunaas became a front line comedian and has also done the lead role in a few films, recently elected the Vice President of the Nadigar Sangam.

Karunaas has forayed into politics and has aligned with the AIADMK after meeting the party supremo J. Jayalalitha at her Poes Garden residence. It is reported that Karunaas is ready to contest the May 16th Assembly Elections if the high command wishes apart from campaigning for the party throughout Tamil Nadu.
