The recent demise of producer Ashok Kumar has put the film fraternity in shock and worry. His decision to end his life due to usury put financier Anbuchezhian in the spotlight and how numerous people from the industry were at the receiving end of the financier’s pressure games.

However, Vijay Antony recently opined that even he was borrowing from Anbuchezhian for over six years and that he felt that ‘his name was being over-exaggerated and depicted in the wrong manner’. However, the actor’s support for the financier wasn’t well received by some industry professionals.

In response to this, film director Karu Palaniappan has taken a sarcastic dig at Vijay Antony. The director stated that Anbu who seems good to Vijay now sure appeared the same to Sasikumar six months earlier.

The director then went on to sarcastically wish almighty’s blessings to Vijay Antony to repay the borrowed amount and not change his opinions about the financier in the future.
