As the Covid-19 situation is slowly relaxing, filmmakers are resuming their projects which were left midway due to second wave of the pandemic. Kartik Aaryan is also back on the sets of 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2', a spiritual sequel to Akshay Kumar's 'Bhool Bhulaiya'. Actress Tabu, who plays an important part in the film is also back.

Director Anees Bazmee said, “We were shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in Lucknow when the pandemic broke out in March 2020. The shooting remained cancelled. But now we are back. Kartik and Tabu are with us. Their comic timing will shock audiences.”

Further praising Kartik's comic timing and duo's mutual admiration for each other, Anees said, "He brings a certain positivity to the set. His comic timing is impeccable. Audiences are going to love his scenes with Tabu. The two are deadly in my film. Audiences will come away from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 hoping to see them together again."

Tabu has reinvented her image in recent years. She starred in a totally unique role in Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Andhadhun' and her character in 'Drishyam' was also a treat to watch.
