Few days ago, Kartik Aaryan announced that he's going to star in director Sameer Vidwans' upcoming film 'Satyanarayan Ki Katha'. Since the title of the film has a religious subtext, it is not wise to release such a film to people who get offended on smallest of details. Keeping this in mind, makers have decided to change the title of the film.

Director Sameer Vidwans shared a statement on Twitter that read, "A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have taken a decision to change the title of our recently announced film 'Satyanarayan ki Katha' to avoid hurting sentiments, even if that's purely unintentional."

Lead actor Kartik Aaryan shared earlier, "I have been wanting to work with Sajid sir for sometime now, I couldn’t have asked for a better collaboration. I’m extremely happy that I am a part of Sajid Sir, Shareen and Kishor’s vision. 'Satyanarayan Ki Katha' is a musical love saga which brings together a powerhouse of people who are National award-winning names. It’s also a first for me with Sameer Vidwans sir who has an astute sense of making sensitive topics highly entertaining."

The film will go on floors by the year end probably after the release of Kartik's 'Dhamaka' and 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2'.
