Karthi's next with Santhakumar?

Director Santhakumar, who is maintaining silence after making a stunning debut in 'Mounaguru', is ready to break it. If sources are to be believed, his next film will be announced soon and it will have Karthi Sivakumar playing the lead role.

Producer K E Gnanavelraja of Studio Green, who was thoroughly impressed watching Mounaguru, invited Santhakumar to narrate a storyline. He liked the knot and forwarded it to Karthi, say sources.

Karthi was equally thrilled when he went through the story idea and expressed his willingness to be part of the movie. Following this, it has been decided to start the yet-to-be-titled project soon, they further say.

Gnanavelraja, a close relative of Suriya and Karthi, is currently producing two other films ('Saguni' and 'Alex Pandian') of the 'Paruthi Veeran' star. Both the projects are nearing completion following which Santhakumar's film is expected to hit the floors.
