The teaser of the Karthi-starrer 'Khakee' lives up to the tagline, 'The Power of Police'. The hero is faced with a tough case. He has only fingerprints as clues to unlocking a mystery. And he can go to any extent for that. His head is buried in the sand, but that is definitely not to be taken metaphorically.

A dubbed film (titled 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' inTamil), the film stars Rakul Preet Singh as the heroine. Umesh Gupta, the MD of Aditya Music, is debuting as a producer with the Telugu version.

Set to hit the screens on November 17, the crime thriller is based on a 2005 news report.

Directed by H Vinoth, it has Abhimanyu Singh in a key role. Ghibran is the music director. Captioned as 'The Power Of Police', it is currently in post-production phase. The cinematography is by Sathyan Sooryan.
