In the motion poster of 'Karthikeya 2', Nikhil Siddhartha's voiceover says that Dwaraka is the biggest secret hidden in the stomach of the seas. Touted to be an epic divine journey, the film's story revolves around a mystical exploration that is divinely related to Lord Krishna.

Starring Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead, the film's pan-Indian release has been confirmed. To be released in the four major South Indian languages and Hindi, this July 22nd release is directed by Chandoo Mondeti.

In the motion poster, we see the lead pair and another character going on a ship and looking in wonderment at something. The tides are giant and the ship is wobbly. Special effects seem to be a crucial element of this thriller.

Producers Abhishek Aggarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad have made the film as a rich-looking semi-actioner as well. Extensive post-production works have also been on. There are, in total, 3000 CGI and VFX shots in the movie. Karthik Ghattamaneni is its cinematographer, while Kaala Bhairava is its music director. Swathi Reddy has a key role.
