It was recently confirmed that Anu Immanuel had dropped out from the Anwar Rasheed movie which stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. Replacing her is actress Karthika Murali, who is a new comer. The director said that the reason for this replacement is nothing but date clashes of the actress. For shoot abroad the visas got delayed and the crew couldn't lock Anu's date due to this postponment as she is shooting for the Telugu flick 'Oxygen'.

Karthika is the daughter of cinematographer CK Muraleedharan, who has handled the camera for movies like 'PK', 'Three Idiots' etc. She is a dancer based in Bangalore. Anwar had come to know about her interest in films through a friend and had done a screen test. The movie is expected to be something different from the Anwar Rasheed stable.
