Actor Suriya returned to silver screens after more than an year post his 2018 Pongal release Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, with his long delayed and most expected movie, NGK, the political entertainer produced by SR Prabhu in his Dream Warrior Pictures.

Directed by Selvaraghavan, who is returning to films six years after his last release, the Arya, Anushka starrer fantasy romance entertainer Irandam Ulagam, NGK also has Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh in important roles, and the movie revolved around the rise of a common man Nandha Gopalan Kumaran to top level in politics.

Many celebrities have been praising NGK and the latest to shower praise on the movie happens to be Petta director Karthik Subbaraj, who tweeted "#NGK is a very bold & quirky film that sarcastically exposes current reality in politics with Selvaraghavan sirs touch written all over and Power packed super intense performance by Suriya sir...
