Karthik Subbaraj shares his disappointment after 'Mercury' release

Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Mercury’ has hit the screens worldwide except TN due to the ongoing producers council strike. The film also seems to have been receing a good response in places it got released.
However, Karthik seems to be an unhappy director. In his latest social post, he notes how he isn’t able to release it for Tamil audience. He pointed out the possible loss the makers might incur if other release dates are also pushed to correspond with Tamil release while standing by the protest as well.
However, he expressed his eagerness to show it to Tamil audience, to whom he owes his growth as a filmmaker. He also hopes that the strike woould see a favourable result with FEFSI worker remain without work over a month.
